Gulf Shores Fall 2026 Nonprofit Grants
The City of Gulf Shores is accepting applications for the Fall Cycle of its 2026 Nonprofit Grants Program.
Eligible nonprofit organizations may receive up to $2,000 per grant cycle, with a maximum of $4,000 per calendar year.
Deadline
Applications opened July 28 and will be accepted through Aug. 28, 2026. Award notifications are expected in early October, with funding scheduled for mid-October.
Who May Qualify
Organizations do not have to be physically located in Gulf Shores, but they must provide direct services to Gulf Shores residents.
Applicants should be prepared to provide:
- Organization name and address
- Federal tax identification number
- IRS determination letter confirming 501(c)(3) status
- Charitable purpose and intended use of funds
- Executive staff and board member information
- Programs serving the Gulf Shores community
- Detailed budget for the proposed use of funds
Eligible Uses
Grant funds may support project-based needs, event support, and critical resources. The city says funds cannot be used for salaries, debt service, operational costs, or political lobbying.
Organizations that receive funding must submit a final report within 30 days of project completion.
