Los Angeles CD14 Microenterprise Grant: Up to $3,000 for Small Businesses — Apply by March 31
Small businesses in Los Angeles Council District 14 can apply for up to $3,000 in cash assistance through the Microenterprise Grant Program launched by Councilmember Ysabel Jurado. The program covers payroll, rent, and utilities for qualifying micro-businesses.
Who Can Apply
- Business must be located in Council District 14 (Boyle Heights, Eagle Rock, El Sereno, Glassell Park, Highland Park, Lincoln Heights, Mount Washington, and surrounding areas)
- 5 or fewer employees
- Annual revenue of $1 million or less
- Must demonstrate financial need
- Business owners with multiple eligible businesses may only apply once
- Businesses are encouraged to apply even if eligibility is uncertain
Selection Priorities
Grants will be awarded to businesses that create or retain jobs. Priority goes to:
- Businesses that have not previously received city, state, or federal assistance
- Businesses in low-to-moderate income (LMI) census tracts
- Businesses with W-2 employees
- Brick-and-mortar commercial locations

The program is funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program administered by HUD. Finalists will be notified 30 days after the application closes.
