USDA Regional Food System Partnerships: $100,000 to $1 Million Available, Apply by June 5, 2026
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has opened the FY26 Regional Food System Partnerships (RFSP) competition. This program helps build stronger regional food systems through partnerships between producers, business groups, governments, lenders, and other local organizations.
What the Funding Covers
- Planning and Design projects: $100,000 to $250,000
- Implementation and Expansion projects: $250,000 to $1,000,000
- Projects can support partnership planning, food system coordination, and regional market expansion
Who Can Apply
USDA lists a broad set of eligible lead applicants, including producers, farmer or rancher cooperatives, producer associations, majority-controlled producer-based business ventures, food councils, local governments, nonprofit corporations, economic development corporations, regional farmers market authorities, and tribal governments.
Eligible partners can include state agencies, philanthropic organizations, colleges and universities, private corporations, and commercial or farm credit lenders.
